Turkish Captain Rescued At Java Sea.

The Turkish captain, Erhan Seckal, of bulk carrier Quorn had been reported missing on 2 May by the crew, was found by a Balinese fishing boat drifting at sea.

The captain told the rescue authorities that he had no memory of his fall. He was, according to his statement published by local media, was checking the stern of the vessel.

He is receiving medical aid, and the company operating the bulk carrier is flying Seckal back to his family in Turkey.

The ship was sailing from Port Headland, Australia to Vietnam.
