New Turkish Street Food Venue Brings Wet Burgers to Sydney.

A new venture by famous Turkish-Australian musician, Levent Artan, "Kofte" (Meat Ball) welcomes Sydney foodies with its line of Turkish street food, including wet burgers, raw meatballs, and meatballs in bread; Turkish style.


The new Turkish Street Food venture “Kofte” opened on Auburn road inside Metro Petroleum on the corner of Beatrice street.

Wet Burgers is a traditional late night food from Istanbul's Taksim suburb, found fame in late 1990s among party goers. Its creators have family links to Gozleme King's own Oktay Kizilkaya.

The secret recipe, once spied on by another famous Turkish-Australian chef, includes...well, let's not spoil the fun.

You can taste Artan's delicious meatball recipe serves from Wednesday to Sunday between 12-7pm.
